Israeli companies barred from participating in Dubai airshow
The news was released following an announcement by Informa Markets, the organizer of the Dubai Airshow, which stated that a “technical assessment” was the reason behind the decision, without elaborating on its nature.
Event organizers also said that Israeli defense companies were barred from participating in the Dubai Airshow after a “technical review.”
Meanwhile, Tim Hawes, Managing Director of the Dubai Airshow, said during a press conference introducing the 2025 edition of the event—one of the world’s most significant gatherings for both civil and military aviation—that “Israeli exhibitors who were scheduled to attend will not be participating.”
Israel News 24 reported that this decision comes at a time when relations between Israel and several Persian Gulf countries have significantly deteriorated since the Gaza war began on October 7, 2023.
