Trump revokes security clearances for Biden and Harris

US President Donald Trump issued a memo on Friday revoking the security clearances of Joe Biden, his family and former Vice President Kamala Harris, which means that these individuals will no longer have access to classified information.

Trump wrote while issuing the order: "I have concluded that it is no longer in the national interest for these individuals to have access to classified information."

Also on the list of 15 are former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Biden's Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and former White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Trump also called for the removal of “unescorted access” to U.S. government facilities for these individuals.

It is unclear what official security clearances some of the individuals on the list hold, according to Politico.
