Israeli soldiers concerned about legal prosecution abroad
Israeli soldiers who fought in the Gaza Strip told Bloomberg that they face potential prosecution abroad for their actions in the region.
Bloomberg reported that the Israeli regime is taking the threat of prosecution of soldiers seriously and is asking them to delete their photos from social media.
According to the report, concerns about the arrest of Israeli soldiers abroad have prompted some insurance companies to add new costs to travel expenses.
Israeli Army Radio reported earlier this month that more than 30 complaints have been filed against Israeli soldiers abroad.
In November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Tel Aviv also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its deadly war in the besieged territory.
