A Zionist officer, comparing the enthusiasm of southern Lebanese residents to return to their homes after the ceasefire between this country and the Zionist regime, admitted that the settlers in northern occupied Palestine have no motivation to return.

In an interview with the Israeli "Kan" network, in response to the question that the Zionists are not in a hurry to return to their areas due to a feeling of insecurity in the north, he said: "I wish we could see the same motivation among the residents of the north as there is among the residents of southern Lebanon to return to their villages and their destroyed homes."

Despite the violation of the ceasefire and the failure of the occupying forces to withdraw after the end of the 60-day deadline, the residents of southern Lebanon returned to their villages on the border with occupied Palestine amidst an atmosphere of joy.

On Monday, the Zionist occupying forces, violating the ceasefire agreement, opened fire on the residents of southern Lebanon who were returning, leaving 2 martyrs and 17 wounded, according to the country's Ministry of Health.

In response to the scenes of the return of the residents of southern Lebanon, "David Azoulay", the head of the Zionist Council of Mutla, said: "The ceasefire agreement with Lebanon was bad. The prime minister signed a surrender agreement with Hezbollah, which will return again."
