Former Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour told Mizan:

The silence of international organizations toward Tel Aviv is unjustifiable

The former Lebanese foreign minister stressed that the silence of the United Nations and other international organizations in the face of Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon is unacceptable.

Adnan Mansour told Mizan: “After the announcement of the so-called ceasefire in Gaza, we have witnessed an escalation of ceasefire violations in Lebanon by the Israeli regime. Of course, even before the Gaza ceasefire, these violations occurred repeatedly — and unfortunately, the silence of certain domestic and international circles allowed Tel Aviv and Washington to act with even greater audacity. Now, once again, we are witnessing the continued silence of international organizations regarding a ceasefire agreement that was established under their supervision and guarantees. Without a doubt, this silence amounts to complicity in these crimes.”

The Lebanese politician added: “In fact, what we are witnessing today from the Israeli regime proves the validity of Hezbollah and the Lebanese Resistance’s position — that they must continue to hold weapons in the face of the enemy and remain the guarantors of stability in Lebanon.”
