The number of martyrs in Gaza surpasses 70,000

According to the ministry’s report, the number of victims since October 7, 2023, has risen to 70,100 martyrs and 170,983 wounded.

The report added that two martyrs (one newly killed and one body recovered) and 11 wounded were transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours. It also noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulances and civil defense teams have not yet been able to reach them.

According to the Shehab News Agency, the Gaza Ministry of Health further stated that since the ceasefire (October 11, 2025), the number of victims is as follows:

• Total martyrs: 354
• Total wounded: 906
• Total bodies recovered: 606
