Demand to disarm the Resistance has no military or national logic
In an interview with Mizan, Dr. Mansour said: “Any demand regarding a certain phenomenon must be grounded in logic and coherent reasoning. The weapons of the Resistance have been Lebanon’s main pillar and source of strength in confronting an enemy whose nature is rooted in occupation and aggression—an issue that is not going to change. At a time when we are witnessing Israel’s daily breaches of the ceasefire in Lebanon and its attempts to seize Lebanese territory, raising the issue of disarming the Resistance is nothing but a strategic mistake.”
The Lebanese statesman added: “It was entirely predictable that after the war in Gaza, the Israeli regime would intensify its efforts to disarm the Resistance. But the Resistance remains committed to preserving its weapons in the face of its enemies.”
