Al-Qassam Brigades, alongside Red Cross personnel, have discovered the body of an Israeli officer in the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Al Jazeera, following today’s search, the body of Israeli officer Hadar Goldin was found in Rafah, southern Gaza. The source also stated that six Palestinian martyrs were discovered at the same site.

Israeli sources report that Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli military, visited Goldin’s home after the discovery of his body; Goldin had been held captive in Gaza since 2014.

Born in 1991, Hadar Goldin was a Second Lieutenant in the Givati Brigade of the Israeli army and a cousin of Moshe Ya’alon, Israel’s former Minister of War.

He was reportedly captured by resistance forces in the Rafah area on August 1, 2014, during the Gaza war.
