Police release bodycam footage of deadly shooting in Illinois

According to CBS News, the Stockton Police Department announced on September 9 that officers shot and killed a 19-year-old suspect who was seated in a parked vehicle.

Police claimed that the suspect, identified as Rocco Robinson, attempted to leave the vehicle and ignored police commands. An altercation occurred when he continued to resist arrest. No officers were injured in the incident.

Robinson was shot by two police officers and then transported to a hospital, where he died from his gunshot wounds.

The two officers involved were placed on administrative leave following standard protocol.

On October 24, the Stockton Police Department released video footage captured from the body cameras of the officers involved.
