4 dead, 20 injured in mass shooting in the U.S.
The South Carolina police reported that four people were killed and 20 others wounded in a mass shooting at a recreational area in Beaufort.
According to The Associated Press, the shooting occurred early Sunday morning local time.
The condition of four of the injured is reported as critical, and the identities of the victims have not yet been released.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation into the incident is underway.
According to published statistics, from the beginning of 2025 through October 12, at least 334 mass shootings have occurred in the U.S., with at least 12 classified as mass murders.

Additionally, in the U.S. this year, armed violence has claimed the lives of 182 children aged 0–11, with 389 injured, and 811 children aged 12–17 killed, with more than 2,200 injured.
