Hebrew-language media reported that a reserve soldier of the Israeli regime was arrested on charges of cooperating with Iran.

Channel 12, a Hebrew-language outlet, claimed that the arrested individual has been identified as Meor Greenkel, who is said to have communicated with Iranian agents during his military service and transmitted classified information.

The head of the Israeli police's international counterterrorism unit stated that Greenkel was an active soldier who performed his daily duties, took pride in the easy money he earned, and even managed to recruit two others.

The Israeli police official further alleged that Greenkel had received a proposal to assassinate his commander.

Hebrew-language media described this case as one of the most serious examples of Iranian infiltration into the Israeli security apparatus in recent years.

Reports indicate that Israeli authorities have launched extensive investigations into possible Iranian infiltration of the regime's intelligence and military structures.

In recent months, similar cases of arrests linked to Iran have occurred in the occupied territories.
