2 Israeli soldiers killed, 9 injured in northern Gaza Strip
According to Israeli outlets, an anti-tank missile was fired at Israeli army forces in northern Gaza, killing two soldiers and wounding nine others. Hebrew-language media reported that a coordinated ambush targeted Israeli forces in Gaza, resulting in multiple casualties.
During the ambush, a tank was destroyed and a bulldozer was hit. Explosives also detonated as Israeli rescue forces arrived at the site.
Earlier, Hebrew-language media reported a serious security incident in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Hebrew news site Kodesh B’Zman, a severe security incident occurred on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City on Monday evening.
Israeli media also reported military helicopters landing at Ichilov Hospital to transfer injured soldiers from Gaza. Some outlets reported that the wounded were flown to Soroka Hospital.
