A new poll published by the Hebrew-language daily Maariv shows that if early elections were to be held in the occupied territories, the opposition bloc of the Israeli regime would win 62 seats, surpassing Netanyahu’s coalition, which would secure only 48 seats. Arab parties would win 10 seats.

According to Quds Press, 63% of Israelis expressed concern over the growing international recognition of an independent Palestinian state, while 32% said they were not concerned, and 5% were uncertain.

The poll also revealed that a majority of Israelis (59%) are worried about the possibility of the occupying regime being excluded from international cultural and sporting events, while 36% remain indifferent.

In addition, a majority (53%) believe that under the current circumstances, the regime should halt the war and focus on securing the release of all captives.

According to the survey, the “Reserve” party led by Yoaz Hendel would win only four seats, down from eight in the August 28 poll, marking a steady decline since then.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party led by Yair Golan has maintained its position, with its number of seats increasing this week. Following the list headed by Naftali Bennett, it is now considered the second-largest party within the Change Alliance.
