Baghaei: U.S. claim of willingness for diplomacy is nothing but deception and clear contradiction
In a post on X, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei wrote:
“When you unfairly point a finger of blame at someone else, in reality three fingers point back at yourself. Baseless accusations against Iran can never cover up America’s complicity and direct involvement in the ongoing genocide of Palestinians, organized terrorism, and the continuous aggression of the Israeli regime against various countries.”
He added: “Boasting about illegal attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities—no matter how much you try to justify them—is both insolent and repulsive, and only increases the U.S. government’s international responsibility for committing such criminal and aggressive acts. It further reveals the deep hostility and animosity of that country’s rulers toward the Iranian nation.”
Baghaei concluded: “The U.S. claim of willingness for diplomacy is nothing but deception and an obvious contradiction. One cannot bomb a country while simultaneously talking about diplomacy.”
