War criminal avoids Europe’s skies

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, who departed Tel Aviv for New York, avoided flying over European airspace—particularly France—out of fear of The Hague arrest warrant and ongoing tensions with Brussels.

Amichai Stein, a journalist for the Zionist newspaper Jerusalem Post, published an image of Netanyahu’s flight path today (Thursday), emphasizing that the prime minister’s plane did not fly over French airspace.

On his X account, the journalist wrote: “The prime minister’s plane continued its flight to the U.S., but did not fly over France due to the arrest warrants from The Hague and tensions over the Gaza war.”

He further noted that, in fact, with the exception of Greece and Italy, the plane did not pass over any European country.

The journalist added: “Instead of taking the usual short route over Europe, the aircraft flew south on a much longer path to avoid the airspace of countries that are signatories to the Rome Statute. These signatory states could be obligated to enforce the arrest warrants if Netanyahu’s plane made an emergency landing.”

On 21 November 2024, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the use of starvation as a weapon against the people of Gaza.
