Wedding in U.S. ends in bloody shootout

According to CNN, local police reported that several people were shot during the incident at the Sky Meadow Club in the city of Nashua, and the primary suspect has been arrested.

Reports indicate that several people were injured, and at least one victim has died so far. Surveillance footage captured the attacker moments before the assault, enabling police to apprehend him.

Initially, authorities suspected two shooters might have been involved, but investigations confirmed that the attack was carried out by a single individual.

New Hampshire State Police have joined local forces in the investigation. Meanwhile, the Sheraton Nashua Hotel, located about a mile from the incident site, has been designated as a gathering place for families and residents.

Local officials have urged the public to avoid the area around the Sky Meadow Golf Club.

The attack drew reactions from U.S. political leaders. Senator Jeanne Shaheen expressed concern, saying: “There is no place in this state for such senseless violence.”

Representative Maggie Goodlander offered condolences to the victims’ families, stressing that her heart is with the Nashua community and those affected.

Senator Maggie Hassan also praised the efforts of police and first responders, calling the event “shocking.”

At the same time, the Emergency Management Office of the nearby town of Dunstable, Massachusetts, issued a “shelter-in-place” order for local residents.
