Various groups are planning large-scale protests in central London and around Windsor Castle today, the first day of the U.S. President’s visit to the UK.

"Trump has no place here and is not welcome. Starmer should not roll out the red carpet for him," said the spokesperson for the Stop Trump coalition, which announced that extensive demonstrations are planned to coincide with the official state welcome for the U.S. President in London and Windsor.

Sima Seyda stated: “This will be a major protest against Trump’s official visit. During his first term, we mobilized hundreds of thousands against him, and he has only gotten worse since then.” She explained that various movements, including pro-Palestinian groups, are expected to participate in today’s protests.

Last night, political activists projected images linking Trump to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein onto the walls of Windsor Castle, coinciding with the arrival of the U.S. presidential aircraft in the UK.

Security measures have been heightened at both locations, with police on full alert. The London Police Service announced that a significant policing operation is underway, deploying over 1,600 officers.

The Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police said: “Approximately 50 protest groups are expected to gather in central London today.”

The London Police have also stated that conditions and restrictions under the Public Order Act have been enforced to prevent serious disruption to the public.
