Death toll in Gaza approaches 65,000

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza on Thursday, September 11, 2025, released its daily statistical report, stating that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war against the enclave has reached 64,718, while the number of wounded has risen to 163,859.

The report noted that in the past 24 hours, 72 martyrs and 356 wounded were transferred to hospitals in Gaza. Since March 18, 2025, when the occupying regime violated the ceasefire, 12,170 people have been killed and 51,818 others injured.

The daily statistical report by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza regarding humanitarian aid victims (food distributions) also stated that in the last 24 hours, 9 people were martyred and 87 wounded. The total number of victims from attacks on people waiting in line for food aid, who were then transferred to hospitals, has reached 2,465 martyrs and over 17,948 wounded.

The report also provided statistics on child malnutrition: in the past 24 hours, Gaza hospitals recorded 7 new deaths from hunger and malnutrition (including one child), bringing the total number of deaths from hunger to 411, including 142 children. Additionally, since the declaration of a famine in Gaza, 133 people, including 27 children, have died.
