Martyrdom operation in occupied Jerusalem leaves 20 dead and injured

The Zionist regime’s police announced on Monday that an anti-Zionist operation took place at the “Ramot” junction in occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli media reported that at least 20 Zionists were killed or injured, with 7 of them in critical condition.

Initial reports from Israeli outlets indicated that 5 people were killed in this operation, which they described as “a major blow to the regime’s security depth.”

These outlets also reported the martyrdom of the two perpetrators of the anti-Zionist operation.

The identities of the assailants have not yet been determined.

According to Israel’s Channel 12, the two attackers boarded the bus, opened fire on its passengers, and were themselves killed by Israeli police gunfire.

Eyewitnesses said one of the attackers in the Ramot operation boarded the bus, introduced himself as a security officer, and, under the pretext of conducting an inspection, surprised the passengers before opening fire.

Following the incident, the Zionist regime’s army radio reported that a meeting was held between army and police commanders to assess the situation after the Jerusalem shooting. Israeli media also reported that the entrances to occupied Jerusalem were closed following today’s anti-Zionist operation.

Meanwhile, Hebrew media reported that Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Zionist regime’s Minister of National Security, arrived at the Ramot junction in occupied Jerusalem where the successful anti-Zionist operation took place.

Hamas’ first reaction to the Jerusalem Operation

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in reaction to the anti-Zionist operation in occupied Jerusalem, issued a statement declaring that the continued aggression of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem will not weaken the will or resistance of the Palestinian nation.

The statement added that this operation, carried out in the heart of Jerusalem, dealt a blow to the security depth of the Zionist regime and confirmed the determination of revolutionary Palestinian youth and the brave resistance to continue the path of struggle and confrontation with the Zionist occupiers.

The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, congratulated the heroic operation in occupied Jerusalem, describing it as a natural and legitimate response to the Zionist enemy’s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and occupied Jerusalem.
