Yemeni army targets Ben Gurion Airport
On Thursday, September 4, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s Armed Forces, stated in a communiqué: “The missile unit carried out a military operation with a Zulfiqar ballistic missile, targeting al-Lydd (Ben Gurion) Airport in the occupied city of Jaffa.”
The spokesman added: “This missile struck its target, and all Israeli and American interception systems failed to stop it.”
He noted that the strike forced millions of Zionists into shelters and suspended operations at al-Lydd Airport.
A senior Yemeni military official emphasized that the operation was carried out as a victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance fighters, in response to the enemy’s crimes in Gaza, and as part of an initial retaliation for Israel’s aggression against Yemen.
He further stated: “The weak stance of some Arab and Islamic countries, along with the complicity and participation of others, has only encouraged the enemy to advance its criminal agenda.”
He continued: “What the oppressed people of Gaza are enduring requires all nations to rise to their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty, breaking all restrictions.”
Yahya Saree stressed that Yemenis will continue their support for Gaza until a ceasefire is reached, the aggression ends, and the blockade is lifted.
In recent days, the Yemeni Army has escalated its operations against the Zionist regime, striking several vital sites in the occupied territories on multiple occasions.
Additionally, a ship linked to the Zionist regime was also targeted by the Yemeni Army in the Red Sea.
