Programming education at the heart of educational justice
Announcing the news, Abdollah Feyzollahzadeh, CEO of Yasan Academy, emphasized: “This initiative is part of our commitment to promoting educational justice and empowering the younger generation. The subsidized coding education and skills campaign will run in Mashhad over four days. Its goal is to introduce 120 students from underserved communities to cognitive skills through computer science and problem-solving via gaming. During this event, students will gradually become familiar with programming concepts.”
Highlighting the importance of strengthening cognitive and problem-solving skills in children and teenagers, Feyzollahzadeh added:
“The rapid pace of digital development requires all children and youth in our country to master local models of understanding and solving problems. With purposeful and effective entry into the digital world, they can harness its positive potential for national growth and development. Among them, children and adolescents from less privileged backgrounds possess remarkable potential, and these courses and campaigns will help unlock their talents. For example, the closing session of the upcoming Mashhad event will focus on enhancing cognitive problem-solving through game development. This creative and innovative approach enables students to collaborate, brainstorm, play, and solve problems together. We believe that such experiences will boost their confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and pave the way for future career opportunities in game development. It will also help many participants envision their career paths more clearly.”
Concluding, Feyzollahzadeh said: “Yasan Academy hopes that through such programs, we can contribute to job creation and the empowerment of the country’s youth. Alongside Yasan Academy, the Technical and Vocational Training Organization of Iran and UNESCO are also participating in this event. The closing ceremony will take place on September 2.”
