No ground military operation will bring Hamas to its knees

In an interview with the Israeli news outlet “Srozhim,” this Zionist analyst stressed that Israel has no effective military solution to resolve the issue of the prisoners.

Yaari criticized the approach of the Israeli Prime Minister and advised that Benjamin Netanyahu should act with rationality and avoid irresponsible decisions.

He emphasized that no ground military operation can bring Hamas to its knees or force its leaders abroad to accept a prisoner exchange deal.

This Zionist analyst also called for a fundamental review of the internal policies of the Israeli cabinet and criticized the extremist views of right-wing ministers, including Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Minister of Internal Security, and Bezalel Smotrich, the Minister of Finance. According to him, these views have isolated Israel from the international community and weakened its strategic position.

Yaari warned that insistence on military solutions and ignoring political complexities will not only fail to free the prisoners but will also lead Israel toward a deeper security and political crisis.
