195 journalists arrested in Palestine since start of Gaza war

According to Al Jazeera, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced that since the start of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023, Israel has detained 195 journalists in the occupied Palestinian territories. The report states that 55 of these journalists remain in detention.

Previously, the Palestinian Government Media Office reported that since the start of the Gaza war, 232 journalists in the territory have been killed.

Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the occupying forces have continuously targeted journalists and media workers.
