Newly released images of the American sex offender not only show him alongside celebrities and politicians but also reveal the infamous mansion where Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious parties were held.

The New York Times has published new details about the life of Jeffrey Epstein — the wealthy financier and convicted sex offender — along with previously unseen photographs.

A reporter from the paper visited Epstein’s private residence, unveiling a 2,000-square-meter mansion that Epstein used not only as a residence but also to strengthen his network of influence among the powerful. On his 63rd birthday in 2016, friends and acquaintances wrote him letters, many of which shared the common theme of praising his periodic dinner parties at the home.

Among the letter writers were former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and his wife, American film director Woody Allen, and media executive Mortimer Zuckerman. Some letters even made references to Epstein’s sexual behavior.

Photos from the mansion show Epstein with figures such as Pope John Paul II, Mick Jagger, Elon Musk, Fidel Castro, Larry Summers, Bill Clinton and Richard Branson. There was also a photo of Epstein with Donald and Melania Trump.

According to The New York Times, in the final years of Epstein’s life, the mansion became a symbol of his double life — a place where famous and powerful guests gathered, yet signs of his sinister activities could be seen throughout. At the entrance, dozens of framed artificial eyes hung on the wall, and in the central area of the mansion, a statue of a woman in a bridal gown holding a noose hung from the ceiling.

The report adds that Steve Bannon, former advisor to Donald Trump, was among the mansion’s guests, and it is said that in 2019 he recorded several hours of interviews with Epstein at the property. Photos of Bannon — including a selfie taken by Epstein — were found in several rooms of the mansion.

After Epstein’s release from a Florida prison in 2009, the house became a venue for meetings with intellectuals, scientists, and wealthy investors. A notable feature for many visitors was the large number of Epstein’s assistants in the home — all of them young women.

Epstein also kept books about relationships between adult men and underage girls in his home, and had hidden cameras installed in many rooms.
