The head of Iran’s Center of Lawyers, Official Experts, and Family Consultants (affiliated with the Judiciary) announced the launch of a national initiative to collect and compile legal documentation of crimes committed during the 12-day war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In an interview with Mizan News Agency, Hassan Abdoliyanpour emphasized the need for a well-documented response to the illegal actions of the Zionist regime and the United States.

He said: “In response to the UN Special Rapporteur’s call for information on the human rights situation in Iran, we decided to mobilize the legal elite of the country to compile legal evidence of crimes committed during the 12-day war against the Iranian nation.”

He noted that this move is in line with the Supreme Leader’s and the Judiciary Chief’s emphasis on legally pursuing crimes committed against the Iranian people.

“Our goal is to strengthen the Islamic Republic’s legal front in the ongoing war of narratives and media distortions. We believe accurate and well-documented legal evidence is a powerful tool for revealing the truth in international forums and before global public opinion.”

Abdoliyanpour invited all professors, lawyers, legal experts, academic institutions, and scholars to contribute actively to the compilation of comprehensive reports on war crimes, attacks on civilians, destruction of public infrastructure, and widespread human rights violations.

He added that such documentation would not only create grounds for international legal action but also serve as a countermeasure to political and legal propaganda by hostile forces.

In conclusion, the head of the Center emphasized that the organization is fully prepared to receive, review, and process legal documentation related to the war crimes. He described the initiative as a national, professional, and strategic effort that requires the broad participation of Iran’s legal community.
