Head of the Judiciary: During the 12-day war, we delivered powerful blows to the Zionist aggressor and its American supporter

Mohseni Ejei, continuing his on-site visits to judicial authorities and centers, paid a visit to the Shahid Soleimani Judicial Complex in Tehran.

According to the Judiciary Media Center, during his visit to the Shahid Soleimani Judicial Complex, the head of the judiciary addressed the judges and staff of the complex, stating: "I extend my appreciation to you, the judges and judiciary staff, who have tirelessly and resolutely continued to provide legal and judicial services to the people under all circumstances — especially during and after the recent 12-day imposed war."

In his remarks, the Chief Justice elaborated on certain aspects of the recent imposed war and said: "Due to flawed calculations, the Zionists and Americans had come to the conclusion that the Islamic Republic of Iran had been weakened. As a result, they seized what they thought was a golden opportunity to deal a major blow to our country. However, the world witnessed how we dealt powerful responses to the Zionist aggressor and its American backer — blows of a kind that had never before been inflicted on the body of the illegitimate occupying regime in its 77-year disgraceful existence. Surely, if the Zionists and Americans had been able to achieve their sinister objectives against Iran, they would never have pleaded for a ceasefire. They requested a ceasefire because they knew they could not withstand the Iranian people and the armed forces of the Islamic Republic."

"Indeed, during and after the 12-day imposed war, the dignity and prestige of the Islamic Republic of Iran increased in the eyes of the world, and especially among the people of the region," he added.

Referring to the extraordinary national unity and cohesion that emerged during and after the war, the Chief Justice stated: "Our people, regardless of their political tastes and beliefs, proved during and after the 12-day war that they are true lovers of the Islamic Republic and demonstrate exceptional commitment to the principle of Wilayat (guardianship of the Islamic jurist). It is precisely due to this deep love and loyalty to the Islamic system and leadership that a powerful, enemy-defeating unity now reigns across our country. We must cherish this solidarity and strive to strengthen it further, and we must distance ourselves from anything that might undermine our national unity under the leadership of the Vali-e Faqih."

Mohseni Ejei further noted: "Our people passed the recent test with pride and showed that they are united and coherent around the Islamic Republic and the leadership of the Supreme Leader. Therefore, we — as officials and public servants of the system — must be more grateful than ever for this noble and dignified nation, and work tirelessly, day and night, to serve them and alleviate their burdens."

The head of the judiciary emphasized: "Within the judicial system, we must pledge to offer these honorable people faster, more precise, and more selfless services — and see ourselves, in every situation, as servants of the people. We must never speak harshly or rudely to those who come to us — some of whom have been wronged by others. We must not delay or procrastinate in handling the legal and judicial affairs of the people. We must not treat their cases with negligence or apathy — and there are dozens more ‘must-nots’ that we should always keep in mind."

Highlighting the difficulty and demands of working in Tehran’s judicial system, he said: "Our esteemed citizens should be aware of the hardships and challenges you judges and staff face in the Tehran judiciary. Despite limited resources and facilities, you are truly making commendable efforts to resolve cases."

The Chief Justice stressed: "For certain cases that draw public attention, it is necessary for all judicial processes related to them to be explained within the framework of legal standards. Sometimes, information about a case should not be delayed until the time of trial or verdict. At times, different dimensions of a case and the stages of its processing must be made clear to the public to enlighten public opinion — especially regarding sensitive cases. Of course, in doing so, it is essential to observe all legal principles and boundaries. In this regard, all judicial bodies must also enhance their cooperation and interaction with the Judiciary’s Media Center."
