15 foreign independent journalists visit Evin Prison
On Monday, July 21st, a group of international independent journalists toured different parts of Evin Prison and the nearby residential areas that had been struck during the Israeli assault.
During their visit, the journalists inspected various facilities of Evin’s 48-bed hospital, including the laboratory, radiology, dental, physiotherapy departments, as well as the visitation hall and other sections of the prison that suffered damage in the criminal attack by Israel.
According to reports, a significant portion of the buildings adjacent to the prison and the main road leading to the visitation entrance were also heavily damaged in the assault.
Civilian vehicles parked along these roads were severely damaged as well.
Over the course of the three-hour visit, the foreign independent journalists witnessed firsthand the evidence of Israel’s crimes against medical staff, prisoners' families, prison employees, and innocent civilians living near Evin Prison.
