Human rights group files criminal complaint against Israeli soldier in Portugal
According to the Foundation’s statement, the complaint was filed against Dani Adonia Adga, a soldier in the Israeli occupation army, accusing him of deliberately targeting four civilians during the Gaza offensive.
The foundation states that Adga served as a sniper in the 252nd Division of the Israeli military. In early 2025, he posted a photo on social media holding a sniper rifle with the caption: “4 bullets, no mistakes.”
The Hind Rajab Foundation emphasized that the 252nd Division was active in the Netzarim corridor, where Israeli snipers and armored patrols systematically fired at civilians, most of whom were children. The organization noted that these killings occurred during a declared ceasefire, not in the context of active combat, classifying them as premeditated murders.
The statement added that approximately 170 Palestinian civilians were killed during the ceasefire period, describing this as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and potentially constituting a war crime.
The foundation confirmed it possesses documented evidence that Adga is currently in Portugal and called on Portuguese authorities to arrest and prosecute him under the principle of universal jurisdiction.
The Hind Rajab Foundation also recently reported that Israel has published a list of sanctions targeting 50 individuals, including the Foundation’s head. According to the organization, the Israeli regime has allocated significant financial and technical resources to undermine the Foundation’s activities.
The Foundation warned, based on reliable information, that Israel is preparing a major propaganda campaign aimed at delegitimizing the Foundation and influencing public opinion.
So far, the Hind Rajab Foundation has filed complaints against dozens of Israeli occupation soldiers in various countries, accusing them of participating in genocide in Gaza.
The Hind Rajab Human Rights Foundation (HRF) was established in September 2024, during Israel’s war on Gaza, in Brussels, Belgium.
