Another Israeli soldier commits suicide
According to Al Jazeera, Zionist sources reported today, Monday, that a soldier from the Israeli army committed suicide at a military base in the north of the occupied territories.
Zionist sources had also reported on Friday that the body of a 30-year-old Israeli soldier, who had died from a gunshot wound, was found in the “Kfar Tappuah” area in the West Bank.
The Zionist media outlet "Hadshot LeLo Tzensura" wrote that this soldier had committed suicide.
With today’s reported suicide, the number of Israeli soldiers who have taken their own lives in recent days has risen to five.
According to Zionist sources, since the beginning of the war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, a total of 44 Israeli soldiers have committed suicide due to mental and psychological disorders caused by the war.
Zionist sources report that the suicide rate among Israeli soldiers is rising. The Zionist newspaper Haaretz, citing certain sources, wrote that due to a shortage of manpower, the Israeli army is redeploying reserve soldiers suffering from mental health issues back into combat in Gaza.
The newspaper wrote: "Due to a shortage of personnel and the suicides among soldiers, the Israeli army is recalling soldiers who are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to active duty."
Israel’s Channel 12 television reported today, Monday, that soldiers have been complaining about military operations that sometimes last for 12 consecutive hours.
