Gaza death toll surpasses 58,000
On Sunday afternoon, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 139 Palestinians were killed and 425 others injured in the past 24 hours alone.
According to official reports, many bodies of martyrs and wounded individuals remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as Palestinian rescue teams are unable to reach them due to the intensity of the attacks.
With these latest figures, the total number of victims since October 7, 2023, has reached 58,026 killed and 138,520 wounded.
Breaking down the statistics further, from March 18, 2025, until now, 7,450 people have been killed and 26,479 injured.
One of the most tragic aspects of today’s report concerns the so-called “Breadline Massacres” — attacks targeting people waiting for humanitarian aid. Over the past 24 hours alone, 28 people from these aid queues have been killed and more than 180 wounded and transferred to hospitals.
This brings the total number of victims from attacks on food and aid lines — widely known as the “Bread of Survival Martyrs” — to 833 killed and over 5,432 wounded.
