798 Palestinians martyred at aid distribution centers in Gaza
According to Reuters, the UN Human Rights Office stated that since the end of May 2025, at least 798 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israeli forces while attempting to receive humanitarian aid.
The report notes that 615 of the victims were killed near sites affiliated with the U.S.-linked “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”
Meanwhile, Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), described the humanitarian situation in Gaza as dire and hopeless. He warned that Gaza has become a graveyard for children and the starving.
He emphasized that the people of Gaza have no way out and are left to choose between starvation or bullets.
Elsewhere, Al Jazeera reported that in the Al-Shakoush area northwest of Rafah city in southern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians waiting for food aid on Friday. As a result, 10 people were martyred and more than 70 others injured.
This comes amid an escalating fuel crisis and a severe shortage of medical supplies. A spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital told Al Jazeera that, due to the critical fuel shortage, electricity to the hospital’s external departments has been cut.
He called on all international organizations to take action to provide the fuel needed to continue medical operations, warning that the current situation is extremely dangerous.
The medical official also urged the international community to pressure the occupying regime to allow the entry of essential medical equipment into Gaza’s hospitals.
