Complete destruction of an Israeli area following Iran’s attacks

Bat Yam’s mayor, south of Tel Aviv, Tzvika Brot, announced the extent of the destruction inflicted on the town due to Iran’s recent attacks, stating that the region “has endured the hardest blow in its history,” with an entire neighborhood, spanning 120 dunams (120000 square meter), completely wiped out.

In an interview with the Zionist channel Kan, Brot said, “Iran’s attacks, which targeted Bat Yam in just one day, caused unprecedented devastation.”

He added that the number of casualties and injuries, combined with the extent of the damage, makes this area the most devastated in the occupied territories, not just in Bat Yam.

The mayor of Bat Yam stated that 160 dunams were affected by the attack, and “of the 120 damaged buildings, 20 will be completely demolished next week,” which equates to “the complete erasure of a neighborhood.”

He further noted, “Look around you. All the surrounding buildings have been damaged, even those not directly hit.”

Brot added that approximately 2,000 settlers have been left homeless as a result of the attack.
