The results of a poll published on Friday by the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv showed that nearly half of Israelis believe Tel Aviv has not achieved victory in the war against Iran.

The poll, conducted by the private Lazar Institute, included a random sample of 501 Israelis. It revealed that 49% believe Tel Aviv has not achieved victory in the war against Iran, but rather only attained “some results.”

The survey also showed that only 30% said the outcome of the war was a “clear victory for Israel,” 16% said Israel achieved “only partial gains,” and 5% said they did not know.

In the same context, the poll also showed that if elections were held today, the Likud Party, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, would win 25 seats, while the 2026 Party, led by former PM Naftali Bennett, would also secure 25 seats.

According to the poll, the ruling coalition parties would obtain 48 seats, while the opposition would gain 61 seats, and Arab members of the Knesset would win 11 seats. At least 61 out of 120 Knesset members are needed to form a government.
