According to a poll conducted by Reuters, the approval rating of U.S. President Donald Trump has dropped to 41% amid Washington’s involvement in the Zionist regime’s imposed war against Iran.

The joint Reuters/Ipsos poll, released on Monday, shows that Americans fear a direct conflict between the U.S. and Iran and are concerned that tensions may escalate following the U.S. aggression against Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

The three-day survey, launched after the U.S. airstrikes and concluded early Monday before Iran’s retaliatory missile attack on the U.S. airbase in Qatar, found that Americans are similarly worried about U.S. military personnel stationed in the Middle East. Around 84% expressed general concern about rising conflict in the region.

The poll, which questioned 1,139 American adults across the United States, highlights the deep divisions in the country regarding Washington’s next steps and reflects the political risks Trump is facing. The survey showed Trump’s approval rating has dropped to 41%, marking the lowest point in his current presidency.

Republicans were divided when asked whether they support an immediate end to U.S. involvement in the conflict with Iran: 42% said Washington should withdraw now, while 40% opposed the idea.

A significant majority of Democrats opposed further bombing of Iran and supported an immediate end to the conflict.

Overall, Trump’s popularity dropped by 1% compared to early this month, when it stood at 42%. While his approval rating has largely remained steady in recent months, it still remains well below the 47% recorded when he first returned to the White House.
