Statement by the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council on the missile response to U.S. aggression

“So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you.”

In response to the aggressive and brazen act by the United States targeting Iran’s nuclear sites and facilities, the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran struck the U.S. military airbase at Al-Udeid in Qatar just hours ago.

The number of missiles used in this successful operation was equivalent to the number of bombs dropped by the U.S. in its attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The base targeted by Iran’s capable forces is located far from urban infrastructure and residential areas in Qatar.

This action posed no threat whatsoever to our friendly and brotherly nation of Qatar or its honorable people. The Islamic Republic of Iran remains committed to preserving and continuing its warm and historic relations with Qatar.
