Sheikh Al-Azhar: The only winners in the war are the blood and arms merchants

Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh Al-Azhar, announced: We strongly condemn the occupation regime’s continued aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its systematic aggression and constant bullying.

Al-Mayadeen quoted Sheikh Al-Azhar as saying: We condemn the occupation regime’s actions to push the region to the brink of explosion and ignite a comprehensive war that will only have blood and arms merchants as its victors.

Ahmed Al-Tayeb emphasized: The silence of the international community in the face of this uprising and its failure to confront it is tantamount to complicity in a crime and has no result other than threatening the security of the entire world. War cannot create peace.
