London police acquire Gaza-tested armored vehicles from Israel

Recently, the London Police have been observed testing new SandCat armored vehicles across the UK capital.

According to reports, these armored vehicles are the same type used by the Israeli regime’s military in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Published images show these vehicles being used as part of a training exercise in London. The London Police confirmed they are preparing officers to operate the SandCat vehicles.

A London Police spokesperson stated: These are specialized armored vehicles designed for high-risk armed police operations and as an emergency option for use in the most severe public disorders.

The London Police have acquired 18 SandCat vehicles to replace their older Jankel models.

The lightweight SandCat armored vehicle is manufactured by the Israeli military company Plasan and was first introduced in 2005. This light armored vehicle has been widely used by the occupiers in the Gaza war.

According to a report by the Israeli Ministry of War, Plasan supplied hundreds of SandCat armored vehicles to the Israeli army following the start of the war against Gaza in October 2023.

It is estimated that up to 700 SandCat vehicles are currently in use in the occupied territories and Gaza.

Zionist weapons manufacturers have long promoted equipment developed and tested during operations in the occupied Palestinian territories, marketing them as battle-tested systems abroad.
