Netanyahu on the brink of collapse
According to a new poll conducted by the Lazar Research Institute for the Maariv newspaper, Naftali Bennett has surpassed Benjamin Netanyahu for the position of Israeli prime minister.
The Maariv poll, conducted by the Lazar Research Institute on June 4 and 5, 2025, included approximately 500 Israeli respondents over the age of 18.
The poll, with a maximum margin of error of 4%, indicates that Netanyahu’s popularity among Israelis has reached its lowest point, with 61% saying they would not choose him and do not consider him suitable for prime minister.
The poll also provides a picture of profound changes in the regime’s political landscape. Among all voters opposed to Netanyahu, Bennett leads for the position, and his potential return to politics could shift the balance of power against Netanyahu.
Among Arabs living in the occupied territories, Yair Lapid, the opposition leader of the Zionist regime, leads with 70% support, followed by 49% for Benny Gantz and 46% for Naftali Bennett.
In the Maariv poll, no new shift in the balance of blocs was observed. The anti-Netanyahu bloc, led by Naftali Bennett, maintains its lead, securing 61 of the 120 Knesset seats without counting the 10 seats of Arab parties, while the current coalition led by Netanyahu would only gain 49 seats.
