Revealed: France supplying arms to Israel while condemning Gaza war
A joint investigation by French sources has uncovered that Paris plans to ship 14 tons of spare parts for machine guns to the occupied territories—marking the third military shipment since the beginning of 2025.
According to an investigative report published Wednesday by Disclose and Ditch, an Israeli cargo ship is scheduled to dock at the port of Fos-sur-Mer, near Marseille, on June 5.
The report states that the military equipment, produced by the French company Eurolinks, is to be delivered to Israel’s state-owned weapons manufacturer, the Israel Military Industries.
The ship will then head to the port of Haifa.
On April 3, a previous shipment of 20 tons of military equipment was sent from France to the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to the report, the second shipment was sent on May 22 and included two million M9 components for heavy weapons and M29 ammunition belts.
Shortly after the report was published, the CGT (General Confederation of Labor) dockworkers’ union in Fos-sur-Mer issued a statement saying that work on "a container full of Eurolinks parts has been suspended," and that they would not load the container onto the ship bound for Haifa.
The statement added: “Port workers will not participate in the ongoing genocide being organized by the Israeli government.”
This revelation comes despite French President Emmanuel Macron stating last week that European countries must take a tougher stance against Israel’s ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip. The French leader also emphasized that recognizing the State of Palestine is “not only a moral duty but also a political necessity.”
