A jurist emphasized: "Iran's inherent rights in the nuclear issue are fundamentally non-negotiable and non-compromisable, and no country can deprive us of them."

Qassem Mohammadi, PhD stated in an interview with Mizan: "In recent days, American officials have expressed contradictory positions regarding industrial enrichment on Iranian soil. Regardless of the inconsistencies in these positions, their adoption is legally questionable. When we speak of a country's inherent right, others fundamentally lack the authority to comment on its acceptance or rejection. This principle also applies to Iran's inherent right to uranium enrichment on its soil. Interpretations of the statutes of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the provisions of the NPT confirm that this inherent right is neither negotiable nor revocable."

This former member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly added: "Under such circumstances, the United States is not in a position to comment on our inherent right to enrichment or other similar matters. Therefore, we are not talking about a derivative or acquired right here. As senior officials in our country's diplomacy and foreign policy have emphasized, any infringement on this inherent right by the American side will leave no room for a nuclear agreement with Washington."
