Message from the Chief Justice of Iran following the heinous assassination attempt on a Fars Province judge

According to the Judiciary Media Center, Mohseni Ejei expressed condolences for the assassination attempt on Ehsan Bagheri, Judge of Branch 102 of Criminal Court 2 in Shiraz, during his commute to work. 

In his message, the Chief Justice prayed for divine forgiveness for this honorable and dedicated judge and sought patience and reward from God for his family.

The Chief Justice also issued a firm directive to the relevant judicial authorities in Fars Province to thoroughly investigate and assess all aspects of this criminal incident in collaboration with security and law enforcement forces. 

He instructed them to pursue, prosecute, and punish the perpetrator(s) of this act as swiftly as possible in accordance with legal standards.
