Araghchi: Iran will not compromise on its right to enrichment
In an interview following his appearance at the Iranian Parliament, Araghchi said, “Explanations were provided to the representatives about the latest round of negotiations, as well as other activities of the Foreign Ministry, such as the regional diplomacy conference held in Shiraz and its benefits for the country.”

He stressed that Iran is not in a rush but will also not cause delays, noting, “For every hour that sanctions can be lifted sooner, we will not hesitate and will make every effort, but not at the expense of the Iranian people’s rights.”
Araghchi underscored, “Therefore, we negotiate with patience and composure, and we will not compromise on the rights of our people, including the issue of enrichment. Our position on enrichment is clear.”
Regarding the next round of negotiations, he stated, “The timing of the next round of talks has not yet been determined.”
