Israeli attack on flour queue in Gaza

On Saturday afternoon, the Israeli army attacked a group of Palestinians attempting to obtain sacks of flour, martyring at least five people. According to local sources, the attack, which took place in the Rafah area in southern Gaza, also injured more than 60 others.

Rescue teams have been unable to save all the wounded, as the advance of Israeli tanks has hindered rescue operations and the transfer of martyrs.

Several incidents of attacks on people queuing for flour and food aid have been reported in the Gaza Strip. The most significant of these incidents, known as the "Flour Massacre," occurred on February 29, 2024.

On that day, hundreds of Palestinians had gathered on Al-Rashid Coastal Road in Gaza City to receive flour from aid trucks. Israeli forces opened fire on the crowd, martyring at least 118 people and injuring over 700 others.
