Rise in suicides among Zionist soldiers

Data published by a Zionist media outlet indicates a significant increase in suicide rates among Zionist soldiers since the onset of the Gaza war.

The newspaper Haaretz, citing informed sources, reported that from the start of the Gaza war until the end of 2024, 35 Zionist soldiers have taken their own lives.

This statistic highlights a notable rise in psychological issues and pressures stemming from the war on the soldiers of the Zionist regime’s army.

The report, compiled based on information from various sources, underscores the deteriorating mental health of soldiers and the urgent need for psychological support and attention to their issues.

The sources stated that the Zionist regime’s army obstructs access to precise information regarding the number of soldiers who have committed suicide.

According to the report, since the beginning of the war, over 9,000 Zionist soldiers have undergone psychological treatment.

Haaretz further noted in its report: Due to a shortage of personnel, the Israeli army has called up soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to reserve duty. This measure has been taken despite at least two of these soldiers committing suicide during their service.

According to the report, commanders of the Zionist regime’s army have acknowledged awareness of this issue but, due to a lack of manpower to carry out duties, have overlooked thorough assessments of these soldiers’ mental health.

One of these soldiers, expressing deep concern about the issue, told the Zionist regime’s army authorities: “Don’t you understand the danger? I might not only harm myself but also others.”
