The Head of the Judiciary stated: Adopting technical and scholarly methods in the responsibilities of the General Inspection Organization, including overseeing the proper execution of affairs, ensuring the correct implementation of laws in institutions, and identifying corruption bottlenecks, is an absolute necessity.

According to the Judiciary Media Center, Mohseni Ejei visited the exhibition of scientific achievements of the General Inspection Organization.

During this visit, while reviewing some of the organization’s research volumes on combating the roots and causes of corruption and addressing administrative misconduct, the Head of the Judiciary emphasized the adoption of technical and scholarly methods in the organization’s responsibilities, such as supervising the proper execution of affairs, ensuring the correct implementation of laws, and identifying corruption bottlenecks.

The Head of the Judiciary stressed: Certainly, according to the law, some matters must remain confidential in the interest of the people and the country. However, this does not mean that all our reports and oversight activities should be labeled as confidential! Accordingly, some of the General Inspection Organization’s oversight activities should be non-confidential so that the public can be informed about the organization’s actions, which are in the public interest. People should know that our sole concern is to uphold their collective rights and achieve public satisfaction. If all reports of a supervisory institution are marked as “confidential,” what happens to “transparency”?

The Head of the Judiciary asserted: Some of our oversight and actions must be confidential, while others should be public. We must certainly consider the people as trusted partners in matters that are not confidential and share issues with them. We can only seek people’s help when they are aware of the conditions, situation, and shortcomings.

The Head of the Judiciary stated: As a key supervisory institution under the Judiciary, the General Inspection Organization must adhere to the principle of transparency and make its programs and actions visible to the public, as all its efforts are dedicated to upholding the rights of the people.

The Chief Justice said: The General Inspection Organization should explain and clarify to the public what programs it has planned to oversee the implementation of the Seventh Development Plan. The organization should reflect its actions and achievements to the public through various media, especially national media.
