Israeli regime’s bombardment of Beirut’s Southern suburbs

Lebanese sources confirmed that Israeli drones targeted a building on Al-Jamous Street in Dahiyeh, with Israeli drones observed flying over the area. Columns of smoke were seen rising from the targeted site in the Al-Hadath neighborhood.
News outlets reported a second attack by the occupying army on a building in Al-Hadath, followed by a third drone strike targeting the same building in the neighborhood. Reports also indicated a fire breaking out and columns of smoke rising from the building after the Israeli attacks.
In response, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the ongoing Israeli aggressions against Lebanon and the attack on Beirut. He stated: “Israel’s continuous assaults on Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are unacceptable under any pretext. The United States and France, as guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, must fulfill their responsibilities and compel Israel to immediately halt its aggressions.”
Aoun emphasized: “Israel’s persistent actions to undermine stability will lead to heightened tensions and expose the region to real dangers that threaten its security and stability.”
Iranian ambassador to Lebanon’s account of Israeli aggression
Mojtaba Amani, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, wrote on the social media platform X: “Forty-five minutes ago, the Arabic-speaking spokesperson of the Israeli army announced they would target a building in the residential Al-Hadath area of Beirut’s Dahiyeh. Several Israeli drones are currently visible in Beirut’s skies. Individuals near the building are firing into the air to warn residents of the danger, a role previously fulfilled through pager notifications.”
