Crisis in the Israeli Army and stalemate in the Gaza war

The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, quoting its military analyst Yossi Yehoshua, stated that the situation in the Gaza war is heading toward the worst-case scenario for the Zionist regime.
According to Yehoshua, the war is ongoing without tangible progress, the number of wounded Israeli soldiers is rising, and Hamas is pursuing its positions with greater determination.
The report indicates that despite receiving heavy blows, Hamas has maintained its operational capabilities, remaining able to fire anti-tank missiles, plant roadside bombs, execute ambushes, and launch rockets. Additionally, the movement’s command and operational structure has remained resilient.
In this context, Yoav Zitun, the newspaper’s military correspondent, reported that due to the shortage of combat troops, the Israeli army’s manpower management has implemented a special directive known as “Order 77.”
He explained that under this order, all military personnel are required to serve an additional four months as reserve forces under emergency status after completing their three-year mandatory service, only receiving their discharge leave thereafter.
These reports reflect a deep crisis within the Israeli army, stemming from the prolonged war and the failure to achieve the regime’s stated objectives in the Gaza Strip.
