He added: “The committee investigating the causes of the incident has held several meetings so far, and lapses in adhering to safety protocols have been identified. Investigations are ongoing, and some responsible parties have already been summoned.”
The Interior Minister noted: “Damage assessments are underway, and the process of compensating for losses will begin.”

The Red Crescent spokesperson continued: "So far, 50 operational teams from the Red Crescent are present at the scene, including 46 search and rescue teams and two mental health support teams providing psychological assistance."
Khaledi noted: "In addition, 50 more teams in neighboring provinces and Tehran are on standby to assist with the potential transfer of injured individuals or to replace other forces if needed."
Regarding the number of casualties, he said: "The incident has resulted in approximately 1,200 injuries so far, all of whom have been transferred to hospitals, and we hope for their speedy recovery."

2 After an initial assessment and declaration of the situation, the head of the IRCS Relief and Rescue Organization, accompanied by rapid response teams, and subsequently the IRCS president, traveled to Hormozgan province to oversee on-site relief operations for the victims.
3 Currently, 12 IRCS relief teams, comprising 60 highly skilled operational personnel, are present in the area. Five teams are operating inside the port, and seven teams are providing assistance outside the port.
4 With the incident declared a red-level emergency, all IRCS relief forces in Hormozgan province, the Relief and Rescue Organization, the Health and Treatment Deputy, and the IRCS headquarters are on 100% standby.
5 The provinces of Bushehr, Fars, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchestan, Tehran, the independent Kish center, and the IRCS youth and volunteer organizations have been placed on orange-level alert. They are on standby for potential deployment to the area and for transferring the injured to medical centers using IRCS ambulances.
6 IRCS rapid response teams, five relief helicopters, and eight emergency medical teams (RDH) from the provinces of Hormozgan, Bushehr, Fars, Kerman, Sistan and Baluchestan, Isfahan, Yazd, and Tehran are on standby for deployment to the area to provide assistance. Additionally, IRCS Sahr teams (Psychosocial Support Ambassadors) are prepared to offer psychological and social support to the families of missing persons, and volunteer teams are ready to assist with family reunification and locating potential missing individuals.
