We exchanged views in writing several times. The atmosphere of the negotiations was serious and professional."
He emphasized: "There are differences in both broad and detailed discussions; the negotiations are cautious, and a general understanding needs to be reached."

Explanations by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the third round of indirect Iran-US negotiations
Esmail Baghaei, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told reporters: The third round of indirect Iran-US negotiations, which began at approximately 10 a.m., is proceeding as in the previous two rounds, facilitated by the Omani host. The heads of the Iranian and American delegations are present in separate halls.
Baghaei added: The Iranian technical-expert delegation, led by the deputy ministers for political and legal-international affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, includes experienced experts in the field of sanctions, such as specialists in economic-banking matters, as well as experts related to the nuclear sector and interactions with the International Atomic Energy Agency. They are present at the negotiation venue and are carrying out their duties.
The atmosphere of Give-and-Take has begun in the negotiations
According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) News Agency, the talks began around noon with the presence of both Iranian and American delegations. The delegations are larger in number; as American media reported, approximately 12 members are part of the U.S. technical delegation. The Iranian delegation is similarly composed, including experts on sanctions removal participating in the talks. One of Iran’s primary demands in these negotiations is the effective lifting of sanctions.
Iranian negotiators, drawing on past experiences, are striving to verify the issue of sanctions removal. Due to this, the state of these talks remains fluid.
The two delegations are engaged in discussions. Previously, the indirect Iran-U.S. talks were referred to as the "Muscat talks," but with the atmosphere of give-and-take now underway and technical experts negotiating to review data and commitments, the term "indirect negotiations" can henceforth be used.
