Head of the Judiciary: Iran and China can expand their relations in political, executive, and judicial areas

According to the Judiciary's Media Center, Mohseni Ejei, Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Judiciary, who traveled to Hangzhou, China, to participate in the 20th Meeting of Heads of Judicial Systems of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, met and held talks with Chen Wenching, a senior member of the Central Committee and head of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of China's ruling party, on Wednesday morning local time.
During the meeting, Mohseni Ejei, referring to the principled positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in promoting and establishing international and regional peace and security, as well as opposing unilateralism and various forms of terrorism, stated: "Over the past decades, we in the Islamic Republic of Iran have stood firm against all kinds of soft and hard threats from enemies and have countered their weapon of terrorism. Therefore, with the experiences we have gained, we do not allow enemies to organize and strike at our national security."
The Head of the Judiciary, pointing to the level of relations between Iran and China and the significant potential of both countries to enhance their ties in light of various factors, including their civilizational heritage, said: "Iran and China can expand their relations in political, executive, and judicial areas. In this regard, the 25-year strategic document between Iran and China plays a significant role in elevating the relations and interactions of the two countries across various domains."
Chen Wenching, the senior member of the Central Committee and head of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of China's ruling party, also noted the enhanced level of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and China, stating: "Based on the mutual trust between Iran and China, we can further develop our interactions and relations in executive, judicial, and other areas."
